Capital Smart City Master Plan:
Surbana Jurong (SJ), a Singapore-based consultancy firm, was tasked with designing the master plan for the society. Norman Foster-designed it.

Currently, SJ is one of the largest urban, engineering, and infrastructure consulting firms in Asia, with over 16,000 employees spread across more than 120 offices, including architects, designers, planners, engineers, and other specialists.

To create the master plan of Capital Smart City, a cohesive planning methodology was applied. The plan includes an exclusive range of facilities to accommodate new commercial, residential, and entertainment aspects of society.

Capital Smart City Islamabad (CSCI) is located near the new Islamabad International Airport in Rawalpindi, Islamabad.
The project is located on the eastern route of CPEC, 9.2 km from M-2 Toll Plaza near the Thalian interchange on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway. It is only five minutes away from the new Islamabad airport.
Other nearby housing societies include Al Mairaj, Eighteen Islamabad, Blue World City, and Lahore Smart City.

First of all, Capital Smart Society covers 55,000 Kanal of land, which is 10 times greater than University Town. One of the closest housing societies to the new Islamabad International Airport will be this one. Currently, society has given a provisional master plan, which will be extended over time. Several other blocks will be added to the project in the future, as well as more land.
An extension request was submitted by the authorities in August 2019. Now that the extension has been approved, the land of Capital Smart City is equal to 80,000 kanals. The project will be the largest in the region.
